The tapering baluster body is worked in a soft celadon ground, centered by a large lobed medallion enclosing a pair of h (phoenix) birds in flight amid stylized clouds, rendered in gold, ivory, and powder blue against a rich oxblood red. A smaller matching roundel appears below. The shoulder and short flared neck are enameled in a deep blue black ground with a fine gilt and white
